2022.01.18 10:46 Exzal Airdrop strategy - fees associated.
Can someone be clear on this question, as I've navigated through this sub and found some people asking this question, and nothing clear ever has been answered.
For most of my staking right now, I'm receiving airdrops which the value is lower than the fee associated with withdrawing them.
Is that normal ?
Does that mean I simply doesn't have enough money staked for the airdrops to be enough to worth withdrawing ?
What is your strategy in order to claim your airdrops without loss and with efficience ?

2022.01.18 10:46 lightning2183 Theory regarding James Cameron and his intentions for the franchise...
This may seem whacky at first glance, but hear me out.
I have reason to suspect that in the coming years, as we get closer to 2029 in real time, and the Avatar sequels are behind him, James Cameron will return to the franchise. For real this time - writing, producing AND DIRECTING. And Skydance will not be involved, but Gale Anne Hurd will.
To this day, I still don't consider Terminator: Dark Fate to be a James Cameron installment of the franchise.
Before all the defenders of Dark Fate come out and write essay upon essay about Cameron's involvement, let me point out that Tim Miller and Co approached James Cameron and asked him to get involved. Dark Fate was not initiated or conceived by James Cameron. It was a Skydance project that later brought in James Cameron. If you don't believe me, do the research yourself - you'll find that what I say is true.
So even though Jim had a modicum of control as producer, and as co-writer, the film is still a concotion of 6 different writers and not the result of a single artistic vision. And it is not a representation, IMO, of what Cameron really intends for this franchise.
Before I explain why on that, let me also point out that this "let's approach Jim Cameron" method during Dark Fate wasn't the first time. Before Terminator Genisys was even made, Skydance and co had approached Cameron to gleam ideas from him about how to continue the mythology. Cameron gave them some pointers, but the results are clear as day.
If there's anything I've noticed about James Cameron, it's that he's quite secretive, and I don't think he will allow others to run with his best ideas only to run them into the ground. It's like casting your pearls before swine.
With Genisys, he gave them the aged T-800 idea. With Dark Fate, of course, he gave a lot more, but if Cameron has his own intentions for the future of the franchise, he gave them what in actuality are harmless ideas.
Dani Ramos. Legion, etc. By jettisoning the classic mythology, Cameron essentially diverted Skydance and other filmmakers from actually exploring what Cameron himself might want to explore down the road. He threw them off the scent and temporarily helped kill the franchise.
Does anyone honestly think James Cameron would allow a situation where someone else outshines him in a universe that he originated?
Now let's get to the real meat of the situation. Here is what James Cameron said during the promotion for Dark Fate:
Salvation took place in the future. I had always been attracted to the idea of doing a Terminator film that dealt with the future war. I probably would have done it quite differently.Right there is an admission that the idea of a Future War film has been circulating in Cameron's head, probably for years. He did also say that it's more interesting when those future elements invade our present, but as we get deeper into the 2020s, the Future War isn't really the future anymore, is it? It's more like a parallel reality to our time.
If I was going to get back into the Terminator world, it would have to be a very broad stroke reconceptualization. If you think about what Terminator is really about, it's really about the dark side of technology, and it's about humans allowing their technology to move us into a trans-human world, so it's cyborgs, cybernetics, all that sort of thing. I would broadly reinterpret what that meant if I was to get excited about it. The one thing I like about the rights reverting is that I don't think in the new series they're telling a new story...Now, when I look at this quote, and I see Dark Fate, I simply do not see a convergence. Other than maybe Grace's cybernetic implants, I don't see a fresh, thematic approach to the material that Cameron is hinting at here.

2022.01.18 10:46 DirtbagComrade changed jewelry and irritated old scarring?
hey guys - looking for some advice. this is a bit of a weird situation so bear with me!
i originally got my lobes pierced when i was 13, and due to doing really awful aftercare (as per the studio's incorrect advice) i ended up with pretty bad bumps and ended up taking the jewelry out and letting the piercings close. the bumps stayed, though they got smaller with time, and i still have them 8 years later.
around 4 months ago, i ended up going to a piercer that i really trust to get my lobes re-pierced, and he opted to pierce beside the old bumps rather than through them to avoid irritating them. healing was going well and the bumps didn't change in appearance, so a few days ago i changed the original piercing jewelry to a very small 14k gold hoop (the post is solid 14k gold as well).
now, it seems like one of the bumps (the one that's always been a bit worse) has swollen up, im getting a ton of discharge and crusties around the piercing beside it, the lobe itself may be a little bit swollen though im not totally sure, and it's quite sore when touched. the other piercing seems to be totally fine, so i don't think it's a gold allergy. the bump isn't encompassing the new piercing and (from what i can tell, since it's at the back) the piercing isn't forming a bump of its own.
im going to be seeing the original piercer soon ish, but does anyone have any advice in the meantime? i've gone back to spraying it with a saline spray twice daily and am not doing anything else (yet?).

2022.01.18 10:46 Mac---- Phosani’s Nightmare vs Corrupted Gauntlet: Which is more difficult?
2022.01.18 10:46 katiess12 Unpopular opinion
During season 11 when Meredith and Derek were arguing, I tend to choose Meredith’s side over Dereks (for obvious reasons)
HOWEVER, after countless rewatches of the show, she was also wrong in this situation, and actually, if Derek didn’t get so hot headed and mean during their fights, I would actually be on his side. She was very unsupportive and didn’t seem to understand that him working for the president was absolutely huge?? I know he made a promise, but I think it’s understandable that her research could have waited for a couple of months, while this job with the president couldn’t be put on hold.
If the roles were reversed, and it was a man being unsupportive of his wife’s career, and not wanting his wife to take a big huge opportunity just so he could work on a much smaller project, peoples opinions would be very different.

2022.01.18 10:46 rompietomp Confused about what's happening (ED from quitting porn?)
So I've started watching porn when I was around 14, a habit of 1 fap a day before going to bed, years passed by and eventually I got a girlfriend at the age of 20, our sex life was great and I had no trouble getting or keeping it up. We broke up when I was 22. Porn was not an issue back then because I didn't think about it being one. When I was around 23 I heard about NoFap and so I started my journey. I made it a habit to PMO once before going to sleep everyday, so I started to cut days out (relapsing every 2 days, then 3 days, etc.), eventually I relapsed every week/week and a half or so. But I was cutting back my porn use drastically which made me really happy. Months go by and I'm now porn free. (I never got to 90 days without MO, my max was like 45 but I don't watch porn anymore)
You might be reading this and think "what's the issue then?"
Well I'm 25 and I'm in a new relationship since the end of August, we have a fantastic bond and are overall a very healthy couple. But I noticed the first time we had sex I literally just couldn't O. It all felt so good but I couldn't O. Since then we had sex pretty much everyday but for some reason it's extremely hard to either get it up or keep it up. My libido has decreased drastically to the point where I tried to watch porn but couldn't even get hard from it either. I'm extremely attracted to my girl, I get urges frequently but only urges, no boners. Like we do so much foreplay and even then I struggle getting it up, even when I'm eating her out or something I just sit there with my limp dick. I feel like ever since I stopped watching porn completely and cut down on masturbating by A LOT, I feel like my libido has gone down drastically too. I'm almost afraid to have sex because it's a struggle to get hard, even when I'm alone. When we do have intercourse it's just an amazing time for both of us but this shit just confuses me a lot. Luckily I'm good with my mouth and fingers but it's just frustrating at this point.
I just don't know what's happening, I RARELY fap at all now because of my decreased libido, it's like I went from being horny 24/7 to being an elder dude that doesn't have libido anymore and it's been like this for MONTHS. I don't watch porn anymore for months either, I'm disgusted by thinking about it.
Could it be that I'm still in a flatline? I do have sexual interest in my girl mentally but can't get/keep it up if we don't go to intercourse fast. It's making me more anxious everyday. Has anybody experienced the same? What are your thoughts?
